Deeper into the mangroves, with a snorkel stop at a spot only reachable by kayak — and a chance of sea turtles on the way back.
About this tour
Building on the highlights of the 1-hour tour, this 2-hour kayak and snorkeling adventure takes you deeper into the mangrove ecosystem of Lac Bay, covering a larger area and uncovering its magical underwater world.
Guided by a certified expert, you paddle to an exclusive snorkeling spot accessible only by kayak and spend about 25 minutes marveling at the marine life and the intricate ecosystems hidden beneath the surface. On the way back, keep an eye out for sea turtles gliding through the clear water — the perfect ending. Allow about 2.5 hours including briefing.
Masks and snorkels are available to borrow (bring your own if you have them); dry bags are provided. Apply sunscreen and insect repellent beforehand, wear lightweight sun-protective clothing and bring your own water — the water at the Mangrove Center is not drinkable. Bring your STINAPA nature fee receipt; the center cannot take card payments on site.
