Experience the magic of Bonaire's mangroves after dark. As the sun sets and the sky deepens into twilight, you embark on a serene journey through the calm waters of Lac Bay — a whole new side of the mangrove ecosystem, alive with mystery and quiet beauty.
Guided by a certified expert, you paddle through peaceful waterways under a starlit sky and learn about the nocturnal life that awakens in the mangroves at night. The highlight: the mesmerizing glow of bioluminescent organisms that light up the water with a natural sparkle at every stroke of your paddle.
Dry bags, an underwater lamp and a refreshing drink at the end of the tour are included. Apply insect repellent beforehand, wear quick-drying clothes (a light long-sleeve top is recommended) and bring your own water — the Mangrove Center has no drinkable water on site. Bring your STINAPA nature fee receipt; the center cannot take card payments on site.
